Project Description

• 6 acre substation pad construction in very rugged terrain
• 50,000 cubic yards of embankment and required import of over 10,000 cubic yards of earthen material
• Installation of 700 linear feet of soldier pile retaining wall 16 feet in height
• Remediation and mitigation of mountainside slip caused by below grade natural springs and seeps
• Placement of over 45,000 square yards of geo-grid reinforcing material
• Required removal of unforeseen concrete structure extending to 25 feet below grade
