Delaware Municipal Airport Runway 10-28 Extension and Overlay
Project Description
- Construction of 800 linear feet of runway, 1,200 linear feet of taxiway and 2,000 linear feet of taxiway reconstruction
- Milled and repaved over 4,000 linear feet of runway pavements consisting of hot-mix asphalt and graded aggregate base courses
- Complied with all FAA and ODOT specification standards and pay factors
- Provided value-engineering solutions to the owner and worked around differing site conditions that reduced the contract amount
- Over 30,000 tons of aggregates and 14,000 tons of hot-mixed asphalt were installed, tested and accepted
- The earthwork portion of the project involved the movement and placement of over 50,000 cubic yards of soil
