Kentucky Terminal – Slope Stabilization Repairs

Project Description

• Emergency slide repair along a heavily vegetated section of the Ohio River
• Cleared of 3 acres of heavily wooded steep slope which required significant coordination and safety planning
• Extensive coordination with USACE, USFWS and Louisville MSD including tree inventory and selective replanting
• Completed restoration including 12 acres of seeding and mulching and native seed/trees
